DCU Water Institute

The Water Institute has three main goals:

  • Safe, secure drinking water;
  • Healthy aquatic ecosystems; and
  • Reliable, energy efficient, quality water supplies for a sustainable economy.

The UCD Dooge Centre for Water Resources Research (CWRR)

The School has a well-established tradition of research in water engineering including hydrologic and hydraulic studies, water quality modelling and environmental impact assessment, water and wastewater treatment science and technology and water pollution control.

TCD Water Research Group

TCD water/wastewater research group have helped improved our understanding of pollutant pathways in our environment, and presented methods for pollution mitigations as well as treatment solutions for water and wastewater in the developed and developing world.
